Diabetes quest game – a type 1 diabetes adventure for kids

Join Warrior Sam and battle dragons in a fun fantasy adventure while learning to care for your diabetes.

On your journey with Warrior Sam, you’ll learn how to balance your blood glucose levels with your physical activity, food, insulin, and stress levels – all while defeating the dragons! Plus you’ll also help Warrior Sam get over the dragon flu.

Invite your friends and family to play too – it’s a great way to discover the world of diabetes together.

And for the parents (because they always have questions!)

This 15-minute online diabetes educational game is more than just dragons and adventures – it will help your child build their confidence and learn key skills to help them manage their diabetes well, including:

  • knowing important diabetes supplies to have with them
  • how to balance insulin, carbs, and physical activity
  • how to recognise signs of low and high blood glucose levels
  • what to do when they get sick.

This game is designed for kids aged 7 to 14 years, but anyone can play (even their friends and family).
